eXaPhoto Quick Start Wizard Welcome! We hope you find these eXaPhoto instructions helpful and a quick way to get started.  Please check the FAQs also.  If you need more help, please contact us. The easiest way to get started creating and sharing albums with eXaPhoto is to use the Start Wizard, select the [Start ] button at the top of eXaPhoto or the [Start New Album Sharing Wizard] button.  Either method will start the new album and sharing wizard. You should see this screen next: Select [Next] Enter a descriptive Album Name and optionally a Description and you can even Rate your own album, hit [Next]. This screen allows you to select an automatic album cover image.  After you have published your album, you can change the album's cover image at any time. Select your desired option and hit [Next]. This screen allows you to add additional security options to your album.  Note:  if you disallow sharing, then even you can not share this album.  It is usually a good idea to accept the defaults when as your first get started.  Allowing your friends and family to add their own comments to your photos can be fun. After you hit [Next], your album will be created and you should see a screen like the following which allows you to select images to add to your new album: You can select one image, or use the window's control keys:  [Shift], [Ctrl], or [Ctrl]-A to select all images, to add as many or as few images as you want.  Later, you can open up the album and simply drag & drop directories and images into this album to add more images.  Note:  While albums can contain many 1000's of images, we suggest organizing your albums using sub-albums and try to keep less than 100 images in any single album to make viewing your album more enjoyable.  Select [Open] to continue. You will see this screen: You can select [Add More Photos here] if you want to go back to add additional photos, or hit [Next]. Hit [Upload Now] to actually send your new album and photos to the server.  This step allows you to work with your album online and share it with friends and relatives.  It will take a few seconds to complete this step. After the uploading is complete, you can share your album with friends here: You can share with up to 3 friends or family members with this form.  Adding a short now to include with your album.  It is not necessary to enter your own email address, you have the option of "Sending yourself a copy" of the album if you want.  If you do not want to share your album at this time, hit [Cancel].  Otherwise, just hit [Send]. If you want to send with more friends, you have the opportunity at the next screen: If you want to share your album with lots of people or post it on a blog, then consider making a Web Address for the album and sending that in a separate message. To do that, hit [Next], and select the album's Context Menu icon .  This menu will appear: Just select the [Manage Web Addresses] and follow the prompts.  Otherwise, hit [Next] and you are all done.
